Supporting the men & women who are working 24/7/365 offshore and on the inland waters of the Gulf Coast to make possible the way we all live ashore.

About
Continuing a 180+ year tradition and history of ministering to mariners, MPI is a faith based charity extending benefits of pastoral care and support to the men and women working in the maritime industry who, out there 24/7/365, make it possible for the rest of us to live the way we do. Care of families while loved ones work far away is a cornerstone of our mission.
Projects
While MPI's activities include all mariners, our special emphasis has been to extend this ministry to those engaged in the exploration for and production of offshore resources, and our chaplains routinely travel by long distance helicopter to engage with that workforce with the encouragement and support of their employers.
Donate
MPI is recognized by the IRS as a tax exempt charity within the meaning of § 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code so that all gifts are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. A copy of MPI's IRS letter is available upon request, and tax receipts for all gifts will be dispatched upon their receipt. No gift is too large or too small!
Get Involved
MPI's activities in support of these mariners and their families is enhanced by a network of volunteer associates who assist with on shore support, involving such as transportation, encouragement and supply in times when our chaplains can't be there in person.
